I saw this product after reading a review, for a chain link weave. The user suggested purchasing extras to install the chainlink weave. I bought it and was happy as i did need the extras as suggested. They were great.I had a hard time finding the 3" fasteners. Finally found them, and they were also reasonable in price.I got these for a small paper project. They work fine and are very durable. It's a good value, but I really only needed one fastener to complete my project.I read so many bad reviews stating that this fastener cannot be used on standard sized, pre-punched holes. Well, duh! Did you read the description? The description clearly states that the head is 5/16" for the 3/4" fastener size and the head is 3/8" for the 1" fastener size. So, of course, you can't use those size fasteners with 1/4" holes. You have 3 options for successfully using the 1" and 3/4" sized fasteners:1) You can use the built-in self-piercing feature2) You can use a 1/16" punch along with the self-piercing feature3) You can use a 1/8" punch (shown in the picture)The advantage of buying a 1/8" punch (as low as $8) is that you can also use it to punch additional holes in your belts as you gain weight like crazy during Covid because all you do anymore is shop on Amazon. It looks like even though the pictures are silver, they only come in gold. So beware the pictures are misleading.First the good: These fasteners are long enough to use with fence tape without much trouble. The bad: They feel not durable and are very thin and soft. Not like the fasteners that came with my tape which can actually be purchased for twice the amount. But I am cheap and if you want to save money then these here will work fine. At least for now. You decide.Work perfect!Great product.Just what I required, and fast deliverythanksNot much can be said about these. They're the same colour in person as they are on the product page, good price, seem ok. I didn't buy them for the "usual" purpose (holding papers together) tho. I wanted something a little snazzy, with a big head, and not too too long to put in the ugly big screw holes in the living room wall where the curtain rods used to be in my rented apartment. These fasteners plug the ugly holes perfectly, look nice, cover the ugly screw holes, and will be easy to remove when my lease expires and I have to put the hideous curtains back up.I Bought ACCO because of the quality, did not disappoint me.
