Fascinating story of a real man's dedication to preserving the memory of the indigenous Americans. A tale of fortitude and sacrifice. He was not "perfect"... scientific rigor sometimes lacking... but deserves to be remembered for the good he did, and the way he "kept going" though a life that wasn't easy.Oh! And the photos are superb. One or two haunting.
