This product is a metal Chickadee for use to store small jewelry or as a decorative piece. It is a decent representative of the bird, except for the color. It is hinged and opens to reveal a small storage compartment. The hinge is firm, and a magnetic closure clicks the piece shut when closing. The painting detail is fine, and there is a smooth clear coat. This is a very nice piece and a great value.
